Hi everyone! Today I was scrolling on Reddit when I saw someone asking if there were other podcasters who didn't love the marketing part of creating a podcast. Now, I've just graduated with a degree in communications, so you'd expect me to love marketing. And I do, sometimes. But it mostly means I have seen how tedious and unmotivating running a brand page on social media can be. Those 7 likes, mostly from friends, aren't really something to keep you going, I know! So today I'm sharing some things you can do that will help you gain attention and listeners, but aren't the typical things that you may think of! 1. Submit your podcast to other pages There are countless people looking for new podcasts every day. So naturally, there are special Instagram pages that cater to this audience. Here are ten suggestions!    1. The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society This is one of those movies that you can watch together with your mom, without any awkwardness, you know? Still, the movie stars many beautiful people to look at and the storyline is very sweet. The whole movie is about a writer who learns about a book club from the island Guernsey that started during the second world war. After corresponding with several members, she decides to finally visit the island. And of course, drama ensues.  2. Hidden Figures Okay, this is a long watch. The movie is well over two hours, but it's worth it, I promise. It tells the story of the people that worked on the space launch, without much credit afterward. Seasonal depression season is over, the sun is shining a lot and things are looking up!
